Limestone Way
Derbyshire Dales District Council invited Simon Holt Marketing
Services to design and produce a new Walkers' Guide for The Limestone
Way. This 28 page A5 full colour booklet describes the 46 mile
/ 74 km trail. It includes detailed maps, photographs, a description
of the route and information about places of interest.
Cavedale near Castleton on the Limestone Way
The Peak District lies at the heart of England and offers
superb walking along miles of paths and open countryside. The
Limestone Way is a waymarked long-distance route that goes south
from the village of Castleton in the Hope Valley, through dramatic
dales and green rolling landscape, to Rocester on the banks of
the River Dove. The route also includes a link to Matlock.
Stone Circle near Harthill Moor on the section
of the Limestone Way between Youlgreave and Winster.
Enjoy this trail as a four or five day walk, taking in the
spectacular scenery and views along the way and passing through
several picturesque villages.
Churnet Bridge, Rocester (at the southern end of
the Limestone Way).
