SHMS was chosen to research, design and produce a new Cycling Leaflet for the Windsor & Maidenhead area. The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has not previously produced a leaflet dedicated to cycling, but now, due to the increase in both the number of cycle routes and the growing interest in cycling, it is considered appropriate for the Borough to actively promote its facilities.
The new leaflet is primarily to be directed at local residents (as well as visitors) and will promote the use of the existing cycle routes both for recreation and for travel to work/school purposes. It also highlights the benefits of cycling for health and fitness, and also to the environment in terms of reducing dependence on cars.
